The ideal location of Cherz makes it the most sun covered site in the Fodoma valley, which is between Pieve and Arabba.
Moreover the house, not so close to the borough and at the end of a descent, allows you to have a wonderful 360 ° view
starting from Gruppo del Settsass, through Sella del Col di Lana, theatre of the battles of the fisrt world war,
through the Pelmo mount a.k.a. "God's armchair", trough the natural rock theatre of the majestic Civetta,
through the peak of Porta Vescovo over Arabba, to the Gruppo Sella with Passo Pordoi.

	Arabba and the surroundings are widely know as the BEST of Supersky Dolomiti for skiing, and from Arabba it's easy to reach the tallest mountain in Veneto : Marmolada glacier.
	In the same way, during the summer, with different colours of the landscape becoming green-brown from white-grey, you only have to choose which trek you want to do. If an average summer vacation is 10 days long, it takes several years to complete all the trekkings around here.
	Just a little suggestion to who might be interested: mushrooms. We will never tell you where the best place for mushrooms are but you won't need it! Cherz is the first place in the mushrooms lover address book. Those who dare to wake up at sunrise will be rewarded with a full bag; but even those who go for a walk at noon, with some gourmet stop in some restaurant, will maybe find a fragrant prize: the porcino.
	Don' forget the camera: you'll be able to take picture not only of landscapes, but also CAPRIOLI in the courtyard eating currants. With the fruits left by them mothers can easily make currant marmalade: not a bad souvenir, isn'it it?
